Weather Man

Lately I've been pondering the question "what would you do if you weren't doing what you do now?" and I think my answer would be meteorology. I always loved watching the 5-day forecast when I was younger (and still do). My family always turned to me with any weather-related worries. It was mostly due to my addiction to golf and how so much of it depended on the weather conditions. Actually, maybe a lot of it had to do with Groundhog's Day. Nate and I loved watching that obnoxiously repetitive movie (especially that one bar scene that we often reenacted with our glass of milk at the kitchen counter... haha....). At any rate, I guess the reason I thought of blogging about this is that there is one thing that really bothers me about our local newscasts. No matter what channel or time slot, whenever the anchors sign off (always after the sports guy), they never let the weather man say goodbye! What's up with that?
